Honorary Consular Corps Nepal (HCC-N) is an association of all the honorary consular in Nepal which helps in linking the sending and receiving countries in social and economic developments.
The association, having an 18 years of history in Nepal, organized the very first regional conference with the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC) for three days.
The three-day conference with the theme ‘Solidarity for Shared Prosperity’ was officially inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice President Mr. Nanda Bahadur Pun. The grand event was attended by more than 300 participants presided by Dr. Aykut Eken (President of FICAC) along with the FICAC General Secretary and FICAC Board. The three day event included honorary consuls and consul generals from across the world. Apart from dealing with national and multinational issues, various entertainment activities were presented , giving a glimpse of Nepalese heritage, culture, hospitality and touristic importance promoting Nepal.
On the 30th anniversary of ratification of Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC30), UNICEF Nepal organized a friendly cricket match at the Tribhuvan University Ground, Kathmandu and Barhabigha Ground, Janakpur with the objective to promote the values of physical fitness, proper nutrition and choices that positively impacted children’s health.
Former Nepali cricket captain, Mr. Binod Das was present on the T.U cricket ground and played opposing the Cricket legend Mr. Sachin Tendulkar himself.

Dharahara, also called Bhimsen Sthambha was a nine-story tower at the center of Sundhara, Kathmandu, Nepal, first built by and later in memory of Mukhtiyar Bhimsen Thapa. The historical landmark was a part of the architecture of Kathmandu recognized by UNESCO. However, The historic monument fell prey during the devastating earthquake of 2015 with many other monuments of historical and architectural importance.
After almost six-year of the tragedy, the restoration of the iconic structure was completed. Then Prime minister K.P. Sharma oli inaugurated the newly constructed replica of Dharahara amidst the presence of various distinguished guests.
